As far as we know, this is officially the first time our merch has been worn in the UK capital. 🇬🇧🔥 Now, we did notice he was spinning on digital decks instead of turntables … but since he was representing Strictly Wax so well in , we’ll let it slide this once! 😉

FULL HOUSE FOR STRICTLY WAX! 🎧🔥

Really impressed with the response for our next Open Decks on 20th June at The Black Swan. We are officially fully booked for slots and it only took 48 hours!

To fit everyone in, we’re actually starting an hour earlier than usual and the line-up is looking massive:

• 6 previous DJs returning to the 1210s.
• 4 brand-new debut acts making their first appearance!

Our DJs are already busy prepping their sets to bring you the best vinyl-only night in . Whether you’re a regular or this is your very first time, this night is for you.

We’re stripping it back to what matters.

No egos, no pretension - just the music.

Dance Like the Old Days: Put the phone away and get lost in the sound,

Come As You Are: Whether you're coming solo or with a crew, your relationship status or sexuality is irrelevant. Everyone is welcome in our space.

Your Night, Your Way: Have a proper dance, watch the DJs work their magic, grab a pint at the bar or just chill at a table.

🌈 Strictly Wax: Open Deck Night returns to Leek! 🌈

Strictly Wax is back at The Mucky Duck for our 3rd event! This June, we’re spinning with pride. In celebration of Pride Month 2026, Leek’s most inclusive vinyl night is returning to The Black Swan for a special evening of analogue warmth, community spirit and 100% real records.

Whether you are a seasoned crate-digger, a bedroom hobbyist, or a member of the LGBTQ+ community looking for a safe, soulful space to dance, this night is for you. No files. Just vinyl. All love.

We are continuing our mission to keep vinyl culture alive by providing an ego-free platform for all experience levels.

A Safe Space to Spin: We’ve created a zero-pressure environment. If you’re nervous or new to the booth, our resident team is on hand to help you find your way around the gear.

Professional Kit provided: Spin on the industry standard: 2x Technics 1210 mk7s, Ortofon Concorde Club mk2 stylus and a Pioneer DJM750 mk2 mixer.

30-Minute Slots: Plenty of time to find your groove.

Open Format: If it’s on wax, we want to hear it! From Disco and House to Indie and Northern Soul - all genres are welcome.

How to Play: Spaces are limited! Secure your slot behind the decks by DMing us or calling 07729 766654.

Strictly Wax Open Decks - the best one yet? 🔊

What a night at The Black Swan, !!! 🦢 On Saturday 25th April, we hit our fourth milestone and it was an amazing night. 8 DJs, 4 hours of non-stop wax with zero digital shortcuts. From 7pm till 11pm, the genres flowed, the stylus stayed locked in the groove and the energy stayed electric.

To all the Strictly Wax Family 🙏

A massive shout-out to everyone who packed the dancefloor. To our “day ones” who have supported us from the start and the new faces who joined the movement on the night, you are the reason the events work. The vibe was exactly what we envisioned: No egos, no attitudes, just a proper night out on the dancefloor like it used to be back in the day …

Growing Together

Strictly Wax is growing from strength to strength, and that isn’t just down to the DJs, it’s down to everyone 👊 Whether you were there sweating on the floor, spreading the word to your mates, or liking and sharing our posts on the socials to help the brand reach new ears, you are part of the growth.
