I think the girls were happy to get back out to their field after we borrowed it on Saturday!!! Thank you so much to Phil and Sarah Heath and the team up at Fowker Grange Farm who even though they had a very busy day harvesting managed to sort everything out for us and even presented me with a sausage butty in the morning! ❤️

I am so pleased to announce that we have raised over £3600 for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital!! You absolutely superb bunch of runners and helpers for supporting us and allowing us to raise so much money.

I’ve got loads of pics to go through and will be sharing them all over the next couple of days. If you have any pictures of the day please send them over and I can add to what we have.

Here are the 5km results

With a new course record we have Ed Whittaker taking top spot, closely followed by last years winner Laurie Hinton who also beat his course record from last year. Completing the podium was Harry Mellor 👏.

In the females it was last years winner Lena Goulding taking the top spot but not quite beating her record. Coming in 2nd was Alex Whittaker with a great run and completing the podium was Poppy Hadnum.

Again huge apologies for not presenting prizes to the top 3, I’ll be in touch to sort this and hopefully make up for my on the day ineptitude 🙈💙💙💙

Here they are, the 9 mile results!

Fantastic to see a new course record from Harry Bond, with Callum Dillon breaking the existing course record in 2nd place and Daniel Watt completing the men’s podium 👏

In the ladies it was Charlotte Statham taking the win, closely followed by Ange Luznyj and Suzanne Corden completing the SMAC clean sweep.

Please accept my sincere apologies as we had fully intended to present all of the top 3 with prizes (which I had!!) but in the excitement of it all I only presented the winners trophies. I will be in touch with you all to sort this. Again huge apologies 💙💙💙

We’ve committed to helping with a project to buy rocket scanners at Manchester Children’s Hospital. They will help make the process of having scans less scary and daunting.

It’s absolutely gorgeous down here, we’ve still got music on with Sinini Ngwenya joining us at 6pm and Tony & Jaxx Duo / Trio seeing us through until then.

We’ve got the red roses on at 5pm and plenty or beer and snacks so come and join us 💙💙
