We're trying to be as ethical as possible, we'll only deal with people and put on bands we actually like and every penny taken on the door goes to bands, with bands travelling the farthest paid first. Please be aware that none of the shows we put on will
be FREE ENTRY shows, this being said we will price our events fairly to ensure we do not discourage people from attending. We want to ensure that bands who play on our shows are paid for their time, no matter how small that payment may be. Just remember that bands invest hours of time practicing & perfecting their material, they spend small fortunes on equipment which often breaks and needs repairing, they pay for transport to make practices and shows all out of their own pockets, and often do this all for the love of it, without ever expecting to be paid at the end. Well you wouldn't expect anyone else to work for free, so why expect that of a musician? The small amounts of money a band earn, help them beyond words. Helps keep them on the road, helps them afford to buy the merch that you want to buy! so don't be a tight arse and remember bands who leave happy tend to come back again! The name Mighty Sucks comes from iphone's autocorrect, if you put in the name of the famous ice hockey team it corrects it to Mighty Sucks. Fun Fact right....
