The difficult decision has been made to postpone all Let's Ride Pop-Up's until 2021. There will be no events for the remainder of the year.

After seeing significant year on year growth it is a huge disappointment not to be able to continue that growth and inspire more people to ride bikes. The current climate however presents many challenges and we are not currently in a position to deliver Let's Ride Pop-Up's in a safe and secure manner.

Whilst not being able to deliver events comes as a huge blow we are able to offer a variety of different opportunities to support people to ride.

The following opportunities can be found on https://www.letsridelocal.co.uk/.

· HSBC UK Guided Rides - family led rides
· HSBC UK Breeze - women only led rides
· HSBC UK Ready Set Ride - a fun resources to help children learn to ride
· Routes - free to download family friendly cycle routes

The Brownlee Centre is open for Pay and Pedal sessions - please contact them directly to book - https://sport.leeds.ac.uk/facilities/bodington-playing-fields/

We can't wait to see you all again in 2021.

Stay safe and keep cycling!

Unfortunately, all sanctioned British Cycling activities, including this weekend's Let's Ride Pop Up has been suspended initially until April 30th. This decision has been taken in line with government advice to protect our volunteers and participants.

Please see update below for more details. Further information to follow.

Stay safe during this unsettled time. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️

From British Cycling:

Unfortunately we have suspended all of our sanctioned cycling activities initially until April 30.

We have done this to take the necessary steps to protect the health and wellbeing of riders, officials, volunteers and spectators, and alleviate the risk of an additional burden on the emergency services at what is a hugely testing time.

We would strongly encourage all levels of the cycling community to join with British Cycling and the rest of the country in doing all we can to halt the spread of the virus in the midst of what is an unprecedented situation.

This was not a decision taken lightly and it is one we have taken in close cooperation with our colleagues at Scottish Cycling and Welsh Cycling.

We fully understand and appreciate the financial, social and community impact that this suspension could have, and we are working now to ensure that cycling is in the best possible health once the suspension can be lifted.

As I’m sure everyone can appreciate, these are truly unprecedented circumstances, and while we will be doing all we can to retain a sense of normality and continuity, it may take some time to return to full capacity as an organisation and as a sport once this situation has been resolved.

We will continue to update our members with more information, and will be doing everything within our power to support those who have contributed to the rich cycling culture that this country boasts.
