What an amazing day it was, June 16th new chapter was written for the TEDx University of Leeds. 8 speakers 8 different worlds converging at one place. New ideas, new perspectives all gave rise to something creative and vital. It was an honour to host the event at this scale.

Aditya is a PhD Researcher in the School of Politics and International Studies at the University of Leeds. His research is at the intersection of conflict, peacebuilding, and global health diplomacy. Specifically, Aditya’s research examines global health diplomacy as an instrument for peacebuilding in the context of the LRA war between 1986 and 2006 in northern Uganda. Before Aditya began his PhD at the University of Leeds, he conducted research in Somaliland, India, South Africa, Ghana, and Kenya. Aditya has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Religion from Emory University, and a Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University.

Fun fact
Aditya appears on a South African cricket show called Cricket Fanatics Magazine to analyze major series and tournaments.
