With the recent heatwave, it finally feels like Summer Mile season is just around the corner! ☀️

We’re now closing in on the final 100 places, and the club leaderboard is beginning to take shape, with Hyde Park and Rothwell currently leading the way.

🏆A reminder that clubs entering 10+ runners will receive a trophy for their fastest miler. 🏆🏆 Where clubs enter at least 4 men and 4 women, separate men’s and women’s trophies will also be awarded

Not attached to a club? Don’t worry - you’ll be just as welcome on the start line 🙌

⏳ 5 WEEKS TO GO ⏳

This year’s Summer Mile approaching 75% sold out and we’re looking forward to another big evening of racing around Woodhouse Moor on 24th June.

We’re also pleased to announce that Hyde Park Harriers will donate £1 for every entry to Support After R**e & Sexual Violence Leeds (SARSVL) - an independent charity providing specialist support to survivors across Leeds and the surrounding area.

What a weekend of racing at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 👏

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part. The support across the city was incredible from start to finish.

Now that marathon season is coming to a close, it feels like the perfect time to switch focus towards something shorter, faster, and a little bit different… 👀

We’ve also included an updated running club leaderboard, and it’s been brilliant to see such a strong turnout from clubs across West Yorkshire already 🏃

🏆 Every club entering 10+ runners will receive a trophy for their fastest miler.🏆 If those 10 include at least 4 men and 4 women, there will be a trophy for each gender.

Whether you’re chasing a PB, trying the mile for the first time, or simply want to be part of a brilliant evening of racing, it’s shaping up to be another special night on Woodhouse Moor.
