PHIL is a Producer/DJ from the south of Germany, focused on making groove-l driven club music.

His sound sits mainly between garage and tech house, built on crisp drum work, rolling low-end and plenty of bounce.

After years working behind the scenes as a producer for hip hop and rap artists — including contributions to Billboard-charting records — he’s now fully stepping into his own as an artist, channeling his energy into what he’s always been drawn to dance music.

With a clear direction and plenty in the pipeline, PHIL is one to keep an eye on.

Dublin-based DJ and producer DJ Boyfriend draws influence from the foundations of techno while embracing modern sound design and forward-thinking club music.

Shaped by time spent in Manchester’s clubs, like the white hotel and the DBA, his sound is built around driving grooves, modern sound design, and dancefloor functionality.

The release of his debut EP on DUVV, alongside remixes from Lunaks and Ikigai3000, offered the first glimpse into DJ Boyfriend’s evolving sound. Gearing up for his next release, he aims to continue exploring the balance between modern sonic experimentation and the timeless principles that have always defined great techno.
