Picking up on last years event and the great events previously organised by Trevor Ricketts, the music festival is back over the weekend of the 20th and 21st August and will be held on the promenade. There will be an array of eclectic music being performed with our ‘Lively Saturday’ 10.30 till 22.00 and ‘Easy Sunday’ 11.00 till 21.00. There will some other surprises as well during the weekend! mer Sounds is in aid for two amazing charities; Children with Cancer UK and Autism Hampshire, which saw over £2000 being raised for the chosen charities. In addition to the music, we have the Summer Market over the 2 days with around 25 stalls, the Summer Fun Fair is back from the 12th through to the 20th August. It will be great to see the John Searle Funfair back for all the family to come and enjoy. With opening times being 12noon till 21.00 on weekdays and till 22.00 on the weekend. (Times may vary) and we see the introduction of Summer Pirates with Captain Greybeard! All is designed to bring some fun & entertainment to our coastal village for a short period during the summer which will give our retail and hospitality a boost to support their businesses.
