📣 Welcoming St John's Church as an LMF 2026 venue with a very special concert 🎻

LMF fave violinist Laurie Chan is teaming up with players from Lancaster's own symphony orchestra Haffner for a unique show in one of our city's most beautiful churches.

St John's has been closed and underused since Storm Desmond flooding, and is still undergoing renovation and repair, so we're excited to be able to celebrate it for LMF 🫶

After a year's break, Lancaster Music Festival is BACK this October - and we can't wait! 🤩

Join us across the city centre for a packed few days celebrating all things music 🙌

Our many brilliant pubs and bars will be doing what they do best and lighting up the festival with artists and gigs all across the weekend 🎵

And with shops, cafes, restaurants, businesses, gardens, historical buildings, street squares and more transforming into music hotspots and workshop spaces, there's a little something for everyone to enjoy!

We're also excited to have a few new venues joining the line-up of festival faves this year, with special events happening at the Castle Chapel and Keep and Westfield War Memorial Village.

Aged 11-18 years old and looking for something music related to do in the summer holidays?

LMF Academy is aimed at 11-18 years olds who want to be part of making a new one-off band and create new music to perform at Lancaster Music Festival 2026! You'll work with like minded young musicians over three days in August at More Music to make new songs and come back together in October to perform at the The Gregson Centre, named the #1 venue at the last LMF!
