🏑🐴 Looking back on the fantastic JF Polo Academy who joined us at The Rookery Equine Cheshire Horse Show 2026 🐴🏑

Their demonstration in the Francomes Attractions Ring was a huge hit with visitors, giving everyone the chance to see the speed, skill, and excitement of polo up close 🌟

It was also wonderful to see so many people meeting the polo ponies, chatting to the team, and having a go themselves on the wooden horse!

A huge thank you to the JF Polo Academy team for bringing something a little different to the show and helping make the day so enjoyable for our visitors 💚

We hope to welcome them back again in the future! 🐎🏑

🌟🐴 WOW… what an incredible day at The Rookery Equine Cheshire Horse Show 2026! 🐴🌟

Firstly — we wanted good weather… although we’re not quite sure we wanted it THAT hot! ☀️🥵

As we reflect on our first year at our new home, Cheshire Showground, there are so many people we need to thank for helping make the day such a success 💚

🐴 All of our competitors who travelled from far and wide to support the show
🌟 Our judges and stewards who worked tirelessly throughout the day
🛍️ All of our fantastic tradestands
🤝 Our generous sponsors whose support makes the show possible
💪 Our incredible team of volunteers who worked endlessly before, during, and after the show — especially in the heat
🚑 A huge thank you to Pulse, our fantastic first aiders, for keeping everyone safe and cared for throughout the day
🍴 Stix Catering for looking after our sponsors so well throughout the day
🏡 Cheshire Agricultural Society for making us so welcome at the showground
🏆 And of course, a huge thank you to Rookery Equine for their continued support as our headline sponsor

Putting on a show of this size takes an enormous amount of hard work from so many people behind the scenes and we truly cannot thank everyone enough.

We really hope you all enjoyed the show at our exciting new venue and made some wonderful memories throughout the day 🌟

Now that we’ve all had the chance to cool down after the hot weather, catch up on business, and get some much-needed sleep, we felt this was the perfect time to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in the The Rookery Equine Cheshire Horse Show 25th May 2026

To all of our committee members, volunteers, trade stands, sponsors, competitors, and spectators — thank you for your support, dedication, and generosity. Without our committee, who work tirelessly for months behind the scenes to organise this one-day event, the show simply would not be possible.

To our incredible volunteers who managed the gates, car parks, arena parties, and everything in between, you are all amazing and so very much appreciated.

To our sponsors and trade stands who generously support and donate to this charitable cause — THANK YOU. Your continued support and collaboration play a huge part in making the event such a success.

And finally, to all of our competitors and spectators, without you, there simply is no show!

As title sponsor, we do our very best to support and contribute to this incredible event, but we are only a small piece of the jigsaw. For a show that is 100% charity-based, the monumental effort from everybody involved is proof that the horse industry truly is one big family that comes together when it matters most.
