The funeral of Alan and Rick Ford will take place on the 22nd of September 2026 at St Mary and all Saints church, Great Budworth at 12.30pm and afterwards at the Cheshire Show ground. If you wish, please wear a touch of red.

There will be parking in Great Budworth Village, however if you wish to park at the showground and arrange to car share to the church this will reduce traffic in the village. Please use gate 7 on Pickmere Lane for entry to the show ground.

Today is all about celebrating British farming and the people who work tirelessly to produce our food, care for our animals and look after the countryside we all enjoy.

At the Royal Cheshire County Show, farming and agriculture are at the heart of everything we do. From livestock and machinery to the farmers, families and rural communities who make our show what it is, there’s so much to celebrate.

We’re proud to champion British farming and showcase the incredible work that happens across Cheshire and beyond.

So today, we’re saying a big thank you to our farmers. 🌱
