Just a few tickets remaining for our annual show at Ripley Town Hall, Harrogate.
This promises to be the best year yet, with a couple of very special guests lined up to join the band on the night.
A selection of Jazz, Blues and some sophisticated popular songs too!
All performed with a touch of banter, and of course, a complimentary G & T (or alternative) on arrival.
Quite probably the best night out in Harrogate, if not the world !

Today we ventured to Leeds , with our Small-version ' Crucible New Orleans Brass Band', for a funeral & celebration of a life.

It was an honour to be asked to join members of the Carribbean community and blend in with their own unique traditions. I'm always proud of this band, and how it can adapt to just about any requirement .

Always an absolute pleasure for me to play Trombone alongside Andy Wallis -Sax, Martin Wydel -Sousaphone, Rod McNamara-Drums.

Very happy to support the dedicated campaign to 'Save Rotary Wood' in Harrogate, outside the Civic Centre. Nice to see so many people turn out prior to the meeting to decide on Harrogate Spring's planning application.

A super gig at 'Jazz in the Spa's, Boston Spa last night.

Andy Wallis - Sax/Clarinet, Chris Lloyd - Piano/ vocals, Ken Hickey - Drums/vocals, Phil Kampen - Bass, myself on Trombone/Blues Harp/vocals.

A special mention to my good friend and special guest Tina Feather stone on Saxes/clarinet. Always a pleasure to have you on board!

Jazz in the Spa is a wonderful venture. Ken, Brenda & the team do a wonderful job of promoting music in the area. Well worth taking a look.

Unfortunately due to the uncertain and changing weather forecast, and the distance travelled by some of the musicians, it's been necessary to CANCEL tomorrow's live jazz by the Riverside event.
Once again it appears that the weather has won! It's disappointing, but unfortunately we need more certainty with the weather when people are travelling considerable distances.
Fingers crossed for another time and we hope you enjoy your weekend!

It's looking good for our Jazz/Street music session down at Conyngham Hall car park ( by the ruins) on Sunday.
