Sadly, we again have to announce that the Upper Eden Yomp Mountain Challenge, planned for the 6th June 2021, has been cancelled for this year.
We reviewed the government road map and do not feel all self-distancing requirements, especially at registration and the finish, can be met. The plan is to be back in 2022. Hope to see you all then.

Just to remind everyone, that sadly, this year's Yomp is cancelled due to Covid-19, it has not been re-scheduled to later in the year. The next Yomp will be in 2021 on Sunday 6th June, we look forward to seeing you there.

The 2020 Upper Eden Yomp Mountain Challenges

Regrettably, due to Covid-19, the Upper Eden Yomp Mountain Challenge to be held Sunday 7th June has been cancelled for 2020. There are no plans to postpone it till later in the year.

Since it’s inception in 1983, this is only the second time it has been cancelled, the first being in 2001 due to “foot and mouth”.

The Yomp committee discussed things over the weekend and agreed this course of action. Then, following advice yesterday, by the Government to avoid all unnecessary contact, this reinforced the decision to cancel.

For people who have already entered either of the three Yomp events, you will be contacted shortly regarding your entry fees.
