I am a qualified independent celebrant, I graduated in 2022, with distinction, from the highly regarded Celebrant Training Academy. I have an ability to engage with people, to build rapport, and create a relationship where people feel comfortable talking to me. I work inclusively, and do not judge people. I have a lot of experience of working with people of all ages and backgrounds, members of the
LGBTQ+ community, neuro diverse people, people with a disability, with a learning difficulty, with mental health difficulties, people with low confidence and low self-worth. I am a qualified Hypnotherapist and a Counsellor, and this has provided me with knowledge and communication skills to support other people’s emotional health and wellbeing. As well as knowing my own grief, I have studied the grief process and this has provided me with a knowledge and recognition of the impact of grief. What you can expect from me
I listen to people's stories, and with them, create traditional, contemporary, or unique ceremonies, to mark life’s milestone events. I always work inclusively and create ceremonies which are beautiful, personal and from the heart. The services I write reflect people's beliefs, values and thoughts, whatever they may be and are based on my customers' ideas and needs. I work sensitively, listen closely, and create meaningful and memorable ceremonies. I am skilled at putting together customers’ stories: writing a tribute which is specific, intimate, and has the sense of the individual. The story will be written for the immediate family, loved ones and the whole audience, and will be sent to the customer as a draft, in time for changes ahead of the service. As many times as needed. As a speaker delivering the service on the day, I will work professionally. I will use my public speaking skills to connect with the audience, to take them with me as they listen to the story of their loved one, friend, or colleague. I am based in Kinross and can travel around east and central Scotland, including, but not limited to Fife, Perth and Kinross, Dundee, Edinburgh, Falkirk and Stirling.
