Ever wondered what legal support you have as a cyclist involved in a road traffic accident?
Recyke-a-bike are hosting a free talk from Cycle Law Scotland on 11th June, 5:00-6:30pm.
Join our speaker Roz Galloway, a civil litigation lawyer with over 18 yearsโ€™ experience. Roz provides local legal support for injured cyclists, pedestrians and motorcyclists.
The talk will provide insight on what support is available to you in the event of an accident, and will bust myths surrounding cycling 'grey areas'. There will also be allocated Q+A time at the end.

Recyke-a-bike will be joined by Roz Galloway, a solicitor from Cycle Law Scotland, who will provide insight on cycle accidents and the law.

We had a very wet but great day out. Five young people learned how to build a fence, up at the Tyndrum Community Woodlands at Dalrigh. Thank you Strathfillan Community Development Trust for hosting our visit.

This is part of our Rural Skills & Development Project for young people to have a go at various activities in our programme. All the activity days are hosted by different organisations.

This project is currently being developed through Wild Strathfillan. Wild Strathfillan is made possible with thanks to the National Lottery players and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Also through Stirling Council through their 'No One Left Behind' fund

Here's a few highlights of our day

๐ŸŒฑDid you know that Strathfillan is part of the Lomond Rainforest? Part of what makes it a rainforest is the many incredible species of moss and lichen growing there. This workshop shows you how to identify many of those species that are indicators of this interesting habitat.

Dr Oliver Moore from Plantlife: saving wild plants will lead this session with his usual infectious enthusiasm and will open up your eyes to the amazing variety of incredible species growing all around us. He will take us through how to use the Rapid Rainforest Assessment tool and your findings will be added to the national database.

Oliver's workshops are always popular and numbers are limited so book now to reserve your place โฌ https://forms.office.com/e/GjkG0MyDfJ

Community Garden
We have an exciting new project and need people to join the community Garden group. This is in partnership with Killin Youth Project and Killin Sports & Recreation Hub.

The Community Garden Group will have members of the Killin Youth Project on it, but we would like to have other people on the group to help us design the new community garden in the grounds of the Sports Pavilion.

The Community Garden will be a mix of a sensory garden and raised beds.

We have just contracted a young landscape designer to help us design the gardens. The project is being funded by the Countryside Trust, through the project.

If interested please get in contact with Theresa at Fassiefern or Davy Fettes or comment on this post. We will have our first meeting in January 2026.
