NEW Young Entrepreneurs Fundraiser!
What is it?
Children start with £10 given by the Village Hall, with 1 aim - make that money grow!
How it works:
The £10 Challenge is open to children aged 14 and under. There are two age categories:
o Under 11
o Ages 11–14
Each participant receives £10 seed money to start a simple moneymaking idea.
Children should use the £10 to create, buy materials for, or kickstart a small activity, product or service. They can even work together!
The aim is to turn the £10 into more money, raising funds to support the Tackley Village Memorial Hall extension.
Activities should be:
o Safe
o Legal
o Age appropriate
o Family and community friendly
Parents or carers are expected to:
o Provide appropriate supervision
o Support with safety, transport, and money handling
o Allow the child to lead the idea and effort as much as possible
The initial £10 investment should be used for the challenge only.
The final date to complete the challenge and submit your final figure will be announced soon (follow this page so you don't miss important information!)
To celebrate all the hard work the kids have done an awards ceremony will be arranged after the challenge has been completed. This will include prizes for best idea, most money made, hardest challenge and more. The date and time for this will be communicated to all participants after the challenge has started.
