The Telling: Breaking the Rules
Saturday 15th November, 7.30pm - Ulverston Parish Church
The Telling return to Liverpool with their 4-star “daring and vivid” (The Guardian) concertplay by award-winning writer Clare Norburn with BAFTA-nominated director, Nicholas Renton.
16th /17th century composer-prince Carlo Gesualdo (John Sackville - The Crown, Call the Midwife) contemplates the events that led him to murder his wife and her lover, soundtracked by his consort of singers (The Mancunium Consort) who perform his unconventionally expressive music.
