☀️ We can't believe it's this weekend!

The weather’s looking balmy for the tenth edition of Wealden Festival and there's still time to get your tickets.

Join us on Saturday for a packed programme of talks, including environmental barrister Monica Feria-Tinta, florist Graeme Corbett and bestselling children’s author Hannah Gold, plus walks beneath the trees with Grass Ceiling Production.

Sunday brings dog drawing with David Mackintosh, a discussion on the impact of art on our health with Daisy Fancourt, and James Fox exploring Britain’s lost crafts.

This year, Grass Ceiling Productions will be joining us at the festival, sharing a special way to spend time in the woods at Wealden.

Taking place on Saturday 20 June, this gentle, guided walk unfolds with music, storytelling and small, unexpected performances along the way. The walk lasts around 90 minutes, with pauses along the route.

Join award-winning author and illustrator Ken Wilson Max for an interactive event about his powerful tale, 'The Big Green: Everyone Can Make a Difference' at Wealden Festival.

Set in Mali, the book is inspired by the real-life Great Green Wall, a project bringing growth and regeneration across sub-Saharan Africa.

🧘 Children are invited to stretch, breathe and try something new in our yoga sessions for kids, taking place at 11:30am and 3pm on both Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June.

Led by certified children’s yoga instructor Simeon Wright, these sessions include partner poses, games and breathing time to support self-regulation.

🌳 Tree climbing sessions take place throughout the festival weekend. It's a wonderfully wild experience for children aged 6+ (and there's no upper age limit!)

Head up into the trees and see things from a different angle - out across the leaves and branches where birds, insects and squirrels go about their day.

With just eight places available per climb, these sessions tend to fill quickly, so we’d recommend securing your spot in advance if you’d like to take part!
