A new chapter for film, culture and community begins here.

Over the coming months, we'll be sharing the journey of creating the Eastbourne International Film Festival 2027—from venue visits and filmmaker conversations to partnerships, screenings, and special events.

We want to bring people together through film, showcasing stories from Eastbourne, the UK, and around the world

Follow the journey and be part of something special.

🎥 Cinema. Culture. Community.

Today we hosted our Student Day as part of the 10th Eastbourne International Film Festival 🎬

Over the past few months, Creative Media students from worked alongside Crossing the Screen to help plan and deliver a real festival experience, from programming and marketing to workshops and event organisation.

Today saw student film screenings, workshops, awards, and a packed day of activity at The Cavendish Hotel. It was brilliant to see so many young creatives sharing their work, building confidence and gaining hands-on experience inside a live film festival environment.

A huge thank you to all the students, staff, volunteers and audiences who helped make the day such a success.
