Louise Exactly (also known as Louise Fazackerley) is a highly acclaimed performance poet from Wigan. She has previously gone viral for her spoken-word piece, I Want My Country Back, tackling topics like northern working-class life, politics, and social issues.

​Our in-house drama group, Act Your Age, is rehearsing various sketches and extracts from q***r literature. These range from Oscar Wilde through Quentin Crisp to Kae Tempest, along with personal stories from q***r Kendal.

Last week, our studio was filled with imagination as young artists got hands-on and creative at our Art Adventures workshop, making artwork inspired by the theme of 'Adventures' for the Young Artist Open Exhibition 2026. We can’t wait to fill our gallery with the incredible creativity of local young artists. 🎨

Young creatives aged 4-18yrs - there’s still time to create your own artwork at home and be part of the exhibition.
