A huge thank you to everyone who has secured a space at The Big Dog Day Out. The response has been absolutely incredible and we're excited to bring together a fantastic mix of businesses, charities and dog-loving exhibitors for what promises to be a brilliant day out for the whole family.

🐾 But never fear! 🐾

You can still join us from 9:00am on Saturday 1st August at 2nd Fife Scout Hall, Berrylaw Place for a fun-filled day celebrating all things dogs.

🐶 While vendor spaces are now full, we still have availability for our Little Tykes Training Sessions!

⏰ Session 1: 10am till 1pm
⏰ Session 2: 2pm till 5pm

🐾 CALLING ALL CHURCHES & COMMUNITY HALLS IN DUNFERMLINE 🐾

This might seem a little early, but I'm a firm believer that the best ideas start with plenty of planning!

I have a project in mind for the Summer Holidays next year and I'm looking to start putting the pieces in place now and get the ball rolling.

I'm on the lookout for an affordable church hall or community space in Dunfermline that may be suitable for hosting a weekly Barks and Brews pop-up event. The aim is to create a welcoming, family-friendly space where dog lovers can come together for coffee, conversation, activities and plenty of wagging tails.

At this stage I'm simply exploring options, having conversations and seeing what venues may be available. Ideally the venue would be reasonably priced, have access to basic facilities and, if possible, some outdoor space.

If you're involved with a church, community hall or know of somewhere that might be suitable, I'd love to hear from you.

Sometimes the best community projects start with a simple conversation, so here's me starting one! ☕🐕💜

🐾 LITTLE TYKES TRAINING SESSIONS 🐾

There's still time to grab your spot! 🎉

For just £20, your dog can enjoy 3 hours of fun, learning, and socialisation with our fantastic Little Tykes Training Sessions.

August 1st
2nd Fife Scout Hall Dunfermline on Berrylaw Place. Open to public from 9am

From day one, we've made every effort to keep this event intentionally small and manageable. The goal has always been to create a fantastic foundation that we can build upon for future events.

🐾 Vendor Update for The Big Dog Day Out 🐾

We’ve decided to be a little generous and give vendors ONE more week before we officially close the books for The Big Dog Day Out! 🙌

The response so far has honestly been incredible and we can’t wait to start sharing some of the amazing things we have planned for you all. The support, excitement, and interest has completely blown us away ❤️

With this being our very first event, we’re intentionally starting smaller so we can make sure we get it right, learn, grow, and build something truly special…

We are seriously looking at doing something absolutely CRAZY in the New Year 👀

We want to attempt to break a WORLD RECORD 🌍🏆

The current record for the largest gathering of people with the same first name is:

👉 2,325 people
Set in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2017
And every single person was called… *Ivan*.

Well now we’re thinking…

Why not break it with the greatest name of them all…

🚨 CALLING ALL MARKET VENDORS 🚨

Cowdenbeath Markets is looking for traders, creators, makers, and small businesses who want to be part of something exciting right from the very beginning 💛

We are looking for:

🍺 Alcohol vendors
🍔 Food vendors
🧶 Crafts
🔮 Witchy stalls
🖤 Macabre / alternative traders
🎨 Unique creators
🐾 Pet-related products
🎁 Gifts & handmade items

Honestly… anything that appeals to the wide range of people we hope will eventually come flooding through the doors over time.

This is a large-scale event and unfortunately the pitch prices do have to reflect the costs involved in putting something of this size together.

Pitch Prices:

🛍 Normal Pitch – £40
(Your own table and gazebo are essential)

🚚 Food Truck Pitch – £55
Initially we were looking for 10 food vendors, but after listening to feedback from regular traders — and we genuinely appreciate that feedback because it’s how we learn and grow — we are now limiting food spaces to just 5 vendors.

🐾 THE BIG DOG DAY OUT 🐾

We are absolutely blown away by the response so far! Vendor spaces are filling up incredibly quickly and we are now almost at capacity… but we think we can squeeze a few more amazing traders in 👀🐶

At the moment we are FULL for general dog-related items as we didn’t want to oversaturate the event and wanted to keep a good variety for everyone attending. However… if you sell something truly unique or different, DM the page and we’ll take it from there 📩✨

🕘 Open to the public from 9AM until approximately 5:30PM
📍 2nd Fife Scout Hall, Berrylaw Place, Dunfermline
