WORKING GROUP
Boxer Open (2) 1. Thomson’s Marbleton I Dare You for Bugarivo. 2 year old red & white male, lively dog full of himself. Up to size and very alert. Ok head with dark eyes, good ears. Body ok but needs to fill out, good reach of neck. Moved ok with good rear angulation. BOB & WG4 2. Thomson’s Arkeney Desperado von Bugarivo. 3 year old brindle/white male, lovely coat, good head with dark eyes, excellent nostrils. I would prefer a shorter muzzle and more substance but he was a happy boy who moved well.

Doberman Open (1) 1. Howard’s Waycarbull Marrs Delight. 8 year old female enjoying her day, in great condition with a nice tight coat, good front and forelegs, nice tight cat like feet. Moved well. BOB & WG3

Rottweiler Open (2) 1. Deas Bugarivo Caoimhe. 5 and a half year old female presented in lovely condition, good broad head and dark eyes, strong neck with good front and legs, nice cat like feet. BOB & WG2 2. Deas Bugarivo Vhalla 17 month old female also in lovely condition. Good head but needs to develop more, body not as mature as 1 but shows promise as she is still young. I found out later that she’s the daughter of 1.

AV NSC Working Open (1) 1. Calder’s Newgraden What’s Occurring- Newfoundland 14 month old brown girl, lovely balanced outline, not overdone anywhere, typical Newfoundland, good neck flowing into well set shoulders with well padded ribs and straight forelegs. Good body and pleasing rear angulation, all of which allowed her to move effortlessly. Best AVNSC & WG1

AV working Minor Puppy (3) 1. Davidson’s Fortonpark Hot Gossip. BMD female. At just 6 months old she has lovely bone and coat, pleasing head with good reach of neck flowing into well placed shoulders, moved very well considering her young age and ring size. Handled sympathetically. WGBP 2. King’s Fortonpark Hot Pursuit. BMD male. Brother of 1 above and what I said above applies to him as well. My preference on the day was his sister as she presented more compact and together with her handler. 3. Thomson’s Bugarivo Sfida

AV Working puppy (1) 1.Thomson’s Bugarivo Sfida 8 month old red female Boxer puppy. Well presented puppy with lovely coat. Everything in proportion, just need her to fill out and grow on.

PASTORAL GROUP

Australian Shepherd Open (1) 1.Webster’s Louiston Hellfire. 4 year old male, he looked excellent in profile. Lovely dark coat, typical head, hands on he has a good front and shoulder placement, substantial body with good rear end and angulation. Beautiful tail set, lovely cat like feet. Handled perfectly and moved effortlessly. I thought at the time that it would take a very good dog to beat him in the group. BOB & PG2

Border Collie Open (1) 1. Rettie’s Glenfound Future Hope. I had just judged a beautiful Australian Shepherd thinking it will take a very good dog to beat him, then this dog commanded the ring - WOW. He is a 2 and a half year old male and possibly one of the best dogs I have ever had the pleasure to go over! His coat was gleaming, he had lovely dark eyes and he knew he was a stallion of a dog. Handled to perfection.

Hungarian Pumi Open (1) 1.Smith’s Breezelyn Ears Looking At You 6 year old female, not settled in the class, however later in the group moved ok.

Shetland Sheepdog Graduate (3) 1.Forbes’ Kiemont Secret Agent for Wellneuk 13 month old dog, nice clean head, good neck and front, straight forelegs. Coat was in excellent condition, longer in body but balanced on the move. BOB & PG3 2.Law’s Cocaro She’s Kryptonite. 11 month old female much more compact than 1 but nevertheless a beautiful girl, good ears, nice dark eyes, moved well and in tune with her handler. 3.Brodie’s Shanaburn Tunes of Glory.

Shetland Sheepdog Open (4) 1.Law’s Molson Mulan 6 year old alert and happy female, more compact than 2 but well balanced in profile. Good head, well set ears and nice dark eyes. Good ribs and lovely coat. Moved well. 2.Forbes’ Wellneuk Dancing Flame JW SHCM VW 10 year old young lady, larger all round than 1 but balanced. Good head and ear placement and nice dark eyes. Lovely in profile and moved well. 3.Forbes’ Jontygray Gypsy Queen of Wellneuk

Collie (Rough) Open (4) 1.Brodie’s Shanaburn Midnight Kisses 2 year old tricolour female, very typical of this breed, standing tall and aloof with dark eyes and well set ears. Balanced in body and very alert. Good coat with dense soft undercoat displaying a lovely mane. BOB 2.Swindon Raven’s Corydon Ice Imperial 5 year old blue merle dog, again standing tall with dignity, nice head with well set ears, solid body with good coat. Moved collectedly. 3.Thistlewings Andromeda at Bracoisla
