It is a venue of ‘lushness’ and has hosted a wealth of local, regional and national talent for the past 8 years. From Jake Bugg, Reverend and the Makers to Rudimental and Punjabi Mc, there has been lashings of secret goodness only known by those in the know. Set for the 3rd and 4th of August 2013 this will be a weekend of shindiggery with a sun soaked soundtrack. Saturday will host big names from
near and far across many genres, where as Sunday is the picnic in the park with more of a family feel, although –we have a secret surprise to end with that may have granny putting the sandwiches back in the tupperware and acting up like all the other mad hatter Aire Doers. Gates open at 11 am on both days and the event finishes at 2130hrs on Saturday and 1800hrs on Sunday. This gives plenty of time to get home and even catch the train back to Leeds/Skipton. This year there will be better food outlets, better stalls and on Sunday the Kids fair will be returning in full hook a duck and spin spin force. We will also have a licensed bar (reasonably priced) so, please leave your alcohol at home as it wont be allowed in. There will be real ale and all the usual tipples, so support the bar - it keeps the whole event going. In addition to the entertainment there will be an Aire do fringe event (Sunday) set in and around the park – where bands and buskers will be secretly placed to be discovered by 'wandering musical seekers'. This is a great opportunity to explore Keighley’s best loved and most beautiful park. The Aire Do is put together by Keighley Town Council and is supported by Leeds City College (Keighley Campus), Jam on Top and a wealth of contribution from Keighley Volunteers. PLEASE BRING ONLY WHAT YOU NEED AND TAKE EVERYTHING HOME
