Yesterday I had the pleasure of chatting to Carol, Barbara and Lynne at the Age UK Bradford District group.

We chatted about their pasts growing up in , working in the mills and we laughed at their stories about nights at the Mechanic Institude in the 1950s jiving and flirting.
They remembered people fondly, their recollection of furry Colin made me laugh a lot.

I recorded their stories for nearly an hour, what a fabulous way to start the day.

“Did you enjoy that, Beccy? Cos I certainly did.” Barbara.

These stories will be shared as part of our festival Let Me Tell You A Story in September.
