Some of the 2025 numbers to make you feel good regardless of your finishing time. Massive thanks to everyone who entered the race, bought some merch, put some money in the box, brought foodbank or trainer donations or gave up their free time to make the race happen. These donations are only possible thanks to all of you:

Borders Children's Charity - £1459.50 (direct runner donations topped up by £1000 of race proceeds). An amazing local charity addressing child poverty and they're all volunteers.
Scottish Trans - £1000 to our long term charity partners, and you can believe they're under intense pressure these days.
Border Search and Rescue Unit - £600, these are the amazing folks who'd get the call to come and retrieve you if things really went to the wall.
Sunderland Mind Page - £500 in memory of David

Physical donations of food and trainers once again piled high for Jedburgh Churches Foodbank and Shoe Share Malawi

Additionally, we were able to send £250 to the Edinburgh Trans Community Health fundraiser - this will cover five blood tests, as essential, routine blood tests are no longer automatically available to monitor folks' health alongside hormone treatments (which they might now also have to access through non standard routes). Race day is getting very close! For those of you packing and repacking your stuff here's a couple of last minute reminders:

- remember your photo ID! If you forget it, you may not get to run 😬😕 Same goes for your compulsory kit, so do double check your runner handbook just in case.

- those trainers you bought that don't quite fit but you forgot to send back? Bring 'em as we'll be collecting for ShoeShare Malawi 👟

- Jedburgh Churches Foodbank donations - please bring a couple of items for the foodbank, you can jettison these at race registration. Top tip, don't put your drop bags in the foodbank collection... 🥫

FASHION PARADE ALERT!!!

Our online shop is now OPEN and we are taking pre-orders for our 2025 hoodies and vests, with updated and even brighter prints. Colours this year are Goth Black and Ultra (heehee!) Violet.

Order deadline is MIDNIGHT on FRIDAY 10TH OCTOBER. Pay now then collect at the race finish.

P.S. Our merch will also be available to buy on race day, but stock will be very limited and everything usually sells out pretty fast - so if you’re expecting to be finishing late in the day, placing an order now is your best option.

Yes, all runners who asked for one will get a t-shirt as part of the entry fee - these are just optional extras.

Yes, all marshals who have filled in our volunteer form and asked for a hoody/vest/t-shirt will get one.

No, you don’t have to be running the race to order these. We’re more than happy for anyone who likes them to buy one and wear it.
