We can supply a set up for anything from a small 150 watt (RMS) 1 or 2 mic set up, suitable for small acustic sets, open mic nights,and small events, right up to a large 500 - 1200 watt (RMS) system with 8 mics and 12 inputs, suitable for larger bands, in larger venues, or small out door events. We can also offer a DJ based setup of music intirely to your choice, using laptops running virtual DJ setups, or alternatively an Ipod or Cd bassed music selection of your choice for intervals or background music situations,
We also have some strong connections with some local Promoters, and live music Venues, so if you are looking for help in starting out on the local Ipswich giging sceen then give us a shout, and we will be glad to help you along the way to playing live and becoming astablished. You should not be concerned that we are running this operation on a very tight budget to offer you the lowest prices possible, all our units and items in stock are from world renowend names, we have units from Laney, Fender, Peavy, Yamaha, Marshall, Celestion, H/H, Class D, shure, behringer, and many more. The reasons we can supply these quality names at these amazingly low prices are as follows,
All our units are older models sourced very carefully over the last year from previous carefull owners, the fact they are older units should not be of any concern as we always carry a spare rig just in case. BGA P.A. is a non profit making concern, no monies are taken by any members of staff. All minimual monies charged for hire are ploughed straight back in to cover running costs, and to improve our equipment base, so that we can offer you an even wider range of service the next time. BGA - P.A. is run and staffed by musicians and band members that have a real passion for music, and an even greater passion for original live music, and it is this alone that inspires them to make this work. All hired P.A. set ups come with an experianced musician bassed operator, with a real passion in helping to make your gig sound as good as it can be in any given venue. If you are looking for a ultra modern system with loads of effects, thousands of watts, and hundreds of channels suitable for large events and venues and festivals, then we are Not for you, and we recomend you look ellse where. On the other hand if you are a up comming musician or band, or running a one off event, looking for a good quality sound on a very tight budget then you need look no more, we are the guys for you. As we run on such a tight budget We ask that you request a quote for your exact requirments and a final price, but we have listed some typical band set ups below to give you some idea of prices, there are also some prices of some back line equipment we have for hire all ready. All prices quoted are for venues within a 6 mile radies of the center of Ipswich,any venues out side of this will require an extra charge to cover fuel costs pro rata,
all prices are per night 6.30pm - 11.30pm approx, any longer, all dayers, or festivals will need to be quoted at the time of booking. (**ATTENTION**- All Prices can be negotiated in terms of the kind of event or venue that is being held, and all setups can be mixed and matched if desired)

Our aim at BGA P.A. over the next year is to also offer full DJ equipment within our rigs, and light setups if required,
And a full back line for hire, so that bands traveling to the Ipswich area from other towns and counties have the option to hire if they can not afford to transport large pieces of equipment,
This way bands or band members can travel to an Ipswich gig all in one car, or on the train, or even on the bus, Or may be your equipment has just broken down, and is in for repair ?, what ever your need, we intend to offer back line equipment for hire at a budget price. As a rule our back line items are only available as part of a PA package, but if you find yourself stuck for an item please ask ?, if one of us is free that evening and feels like watching a live gig at the time,we may just run you down a single back line item ?.
