⚠️ URGENT PUBLIC NOTICE ⚠️

We are posting to let you know that Drakies & Culcabock Hall was broken into last night, 4th July.

Entry was gained by smashing the windows in the main door. Thankfully, there was no damage caused inside the hall other than to the door itself.

Police Scotland CID attended the scene this morning, carried out forensics and their enquiries, and collected evidence. Arrangements have been made today to further secure the hall.

At the request of the police, we ask that no key holders access the hall until they have completed their immediate enquiries. We will let everyone know as soon as we hear anymore information.

If anyone noticed or heard anything unusual around Drakies Hall last night between the hours of 6.30pm and 10pm, or has any information that may assist the police, please contact Police Scotland on 101. You can contact us here or by email for the incident number.

📢 HALL RENOVATIONS UPDATE 📢

We wanted to share a further update with everyone regarding the ongoing hall renovations.

Unfortunately, the hall will not be reopening this month as we had originally hoped. We understand there has been some speculation about the progress, and we want to reassure everyone that we are doing everything possible to get the hall back up and running.

However, the situation has not been as straightforward as expected. A number of unforeseen issues have arisen during the works, and as a result, our case has now been escalated to the Complaints Department due to the complications encountered.

At this stage, we are not in a position to provide a confirmed reopening date.

On a positive note, the new flooring is being installed this week, and we are hopeful this will allow other elements of the project to start progressing more smoothly.

We will continue to keep you updated as things move forward and sincerely apologise for the ongoing delays. This is not the experience we had hoped for, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
