Up-stairs @ The Tapas & Wine Bar, La Tortilla Asesina, is fast becoming a popular performance space for music and comedy in the heart of Inverness. La Tortilla Asesina is the authentic brainchild of Duncan Chisolm, and locals in the know like to think of it as the best tapas bar outside Spain. After touring Spain on his motorbike, involving numerous stops at tapas bars along the way, Chisolm decided to take the concept back home. Not only has he successfully recreated the look, including imported tiles adorning the restaurant's bottom half and chilled counters at the bar, the food is right on the money – and all at good value for money too. The Up-stairs venue is proving a very popular addition to his vision. La Tortilla Asesina offers dining on two floors, with our main dining and counter area downstairs and music and ents Up-stairs. Both areas are individually decorated to bring an authentic slice of Spain to the Highlands! What a night!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for another fantastic evening with the Monster Comedy crew.

It was great to see the room packed with people enjoying great food, plenty of laughs, and a brilliant lineup of comedians. Nights like these are exactly why we love hosting events in our upstairs space!

Monster Comedy is back on 5th June for another evening of great food and big laughs!

Enjoy a delicious 2-course meal with paella and sangria, followed by stand-up from some of Scotland’s top comic talent, including headliner Kirsty Lynch.

Kirsty has performed at huge shows like the Edinburgh Fringe and Glasgow International Comedy Festival, and is currently touring with Gary Meikle on his “Yer Maw” tour.

Headliner for the evening will be the fantastic KIRSTY LYNCH! 🎤

Kirsty burst onto the comedy scene at The Stand Comedy Club, Glasgow in 2022. She has since performed at the Barcelona Fringe, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Leicester Comedy Festival, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, and the Manchester Women In Comedy Festival.
