Greetings from Team Shenanigan!! We hope everyone is well!! We have some fantastic news for you!!

We have been collaborating with a new local charity festival called Endospell to bring you a two day, covid compliant shindig hosting bands and DJs, just like the good old days!

The event will take place at Killearnen, Tore on the 31st July running through to the 2nd August. It is a drive in, camping themed festival whereby you can bring a bubble of up to 15 people and single day tickets are also available.

Shenanigan Isolation Mix #018 comes from Inverness based DJ Natalie Gillies - 'Highland Heartbeats' AKA LADY BEATS.

Nattallies passion for music started over 25 years ago when her brother Gavin Gillies was Playing gigs with Rub a Dub Records, Club 69, Jungle Palace, The Railway Club and Kiatribe.

While she was late in the game to start DJ'ing Nattallie was always the first on any dance floor and with a real thirst and passion for a good track she started selecting her own and putting them together in her own unique taste and style.

With some Deep protective melodic house she has played some really great online shows and stations including Experience House with Experience Music, Groove city, Radio Casafonda and Mix Hit Radio to name but a few...

She has a healthy collection of mixcloud and Facebook followers and a good selection of live performances under her belt including Belladrum Festival, Shenanigan Festival, D2 in Aberdeen with the Feirce collective crew and T.N.T Newbs with Attitude in Edinburgh to name but a few..

This year was set to be an exciting year for Highland Heartbeats with Nattallie setting up her own night at the Tooth & Claw in Inverness as well as a regular slot at the The Underground in Tain, although this has sadly been put on hold for now due to covid - but she is pleased to have secured future bookings with the legends that are Ali Maclennen - Nonstop Skye, Liam Mackenzie AKA Romplex, Gavin Gillies, Andy Innes, Dylan Fraser and the Inverness hero's State Of Grace..

Shenanigan Isolation Mix #017 comes from Deviation DJ and Shenanigan veteran Dave Hann

Deviation has been a long standing name within the Highland club scene since the late 90s and Dave, a self taught DJ since the age of 17, has been a part of the brand for over 16 years now. This had led to him playing many bars and clubs around Inverness and the Highlands, with the privilege of playing alongside some of the best DJ's in the world along the way.

For Daves Shenanigan Isolation Mix, he has created an exclusive 150 minute mix taking you on a extra long journey through progressive house and beyond.

Shenanigan Isolation Mix #016 comes from Raymond 'Ramie' Gold from Dingwall, Highlands of Scotland.

From the age of 13 Ramie drew a keen taste in the Harder edged styles of dance music. At 17 he acquired his first set of decks and by 20 he was playing out regularly at events like GEARBOX at Karma Lounge, Inverness and Compression Edinburgh.

Since then his taste has shifted predominantly more towards Techno after having been to some of the massive Awakenings events in Amsterdam. Regularly playing in his hometown local The Mallard and the now closed Picture House.

The last few years he has seen him play some his biggest gigs to date at the Ironworks Inverness, supporting the likes of SLAM, GARY BECK, UMEK, EDDIE HALLIWELL to name a few and more recently invited along to TLF at The Tunnels, Aberdeen.

He has love for a wide spectrum of genres of music. You'll find his sets consist of mainly driving, underground Techno and funky Tech-House and from time to time going back to his Hard-Dance roots.

The March 2020 Coronavirus lockdown has seen him use the time to finally put together a small home studio space to get the head into the production side of things. Hoping to make progress with learning throughout summer and aiming to have a couple finished projects come the end of the year. Stay tuned...

Shenanigan Isolation Mix #015 comes from Inverness based DJ 'Bonanza'

No stranger to Shenanigan, Bonanza competed at the 2017 Shenanigan DJ battle going head to head on the decks against 5 other finalists and finishing in joint first place alongside DJ Josh Ross. Bonanza then went on to perform at Shenanigan 2017.

Shenanigan Isolation Mix #014 comes from Orkney based DJ Thorfinn Gray

Thornfinn has been DJing since the age of 17. He began by doing nights in a local nightclub – Fusion, as well as local bars. Moving on to play at many local parties and events and further afield including at The Tunnels for TLF’s XYZ night in Aberdeen and going on to support Will Atkinson in his home town at one of Kirkwall’s newest venues – The Sound Archive. Thor has also done many club nights in Shetland at the Wheel nightclub. 2019 seen Thorfinn make his Shenanigan debut.

Early influence’s are very varied from the likes of Green Velvet, Slam, Alan Fitzpatrick, Pig & Dan but also loves pulling up stuff by X-coast, Raito, Big Miz, Montego Bay, Gerd Janson, Alan Braxe and playing early 00’s classics are one his guilty pleasures

Thors describes his Shenanigan Isolation Mix as a mix of old and new with some up-lifting belters thrown in for this boring and depressing times...from Big Miz through to The Shapeshifters..
