For Muck n' Mac Fest 2026, we launched our subsidised Discover Gravel ticket for female riders looking to take on their first cycling event - it was great to see a really positive uptake on this, and many of our first time female riders have already signed up for the LONG course in 2027!

Across most cycling disciplines, there is usually a 90%/10% split across male and female riders, we were delighted to balance the scales slightly with a 70%/30% this year... A step in the right direction, for sure!

Next up, on our gravel programme is our where we'll be hosting UK leg - alongside the traditional 100km full course and 50km course, we're delighted to offer another Discover Gravel - short course option!

We hope to see you at on 26 - 28 June for more stellar South Scotland Gravel!

Now that the dust has settled (settling) on Muck n' Mac Fest 2026, we're delighted to announce that entries are now open for 2027!

We'll be going back to our roots with the traditional enduro format for next year... make sure to grab a massive discount now or pencil in your calendar 30 April - 2 May - we'll see you there!

But what about the BORDER.200, you might be thinking? In 2027, we will be running our newest event as a standalone feature in its own right... We'll be announcing dates and opening entries shortly đź‘€

And that’s a wrap on Muck n Mac Fest 2026!

We officially bring our 5th year to a close — and what a year it’s been! A massive thank you to each and every one of you who joined us and made it so special. Your energy, support, and enthusiasm are what this event is all about.

A huge shoutout also goes to everyone behind the scenes - our incredible staff, dedicated volunteers, and amazing delivery partners. We couldn’t do this without you 💛

And a special thank you to Traquair House — an absolutely stunning location for a weekend of gravel and festival atmosphere!

We've got and up on stage with a film produced by Andrew... expect to see lots of him on the trails behind the lends this weekend!

We're closing entries to Muck n'Mac Fest THIS EVENING... And, there's just a handful of spaces left, so enter now, or forever hold your peace!

We will be opening entries for the 2027 edition on Monday at super, super early bird pricing, so, if you can't join us this weekend - make sure to tune in and see what it's all about, and confirm your spot next year...

We can't wait to welcome over 300 riders to the festiva - many who have ridden all 5 editions and lots of riders experiencing the finest of Tweed Valley gravel for the first time!

And of course, our gravel enduro Muck n Mac, staple format...

For everyone not taking on the BORDER.200 (GrALBA R2) ride on Saturday, and for ALL riders on the Sunday (GrALBA R3), you'll be taking on our gravel enduro.

Our long course riders will tackle 3x timed stages on Saturday and 3x stages on Sunday, for our short course, you'll be doing 2x stages each day.

The beauty of the enduro format means you can fully kick back and enjoy the surroundings without any pressure, as the clock stops ticking... you're welcome to hit the stages with Pogacar force, or just roll through at your leisure!

We have just a couple of spaces left, so if you're keen to sign up - best be fast!

This time next week, the talks and films will be underway at Muck n Mac Fest and the festival will be officially open 🎉

We’re delighted to have Aoife Glass hosting our evening of talks, joined by an incredible lineup of guest speakers including Lee Craigie and the Adventure Syndicate, Markus Stitz!

Expect insights into what’s waiting out on the trails for our Discover Gravel riders, along with stories and perspectives from Aidan Webster and our very own man behind the lens, Andrew Leinster.

It’s shaping up to be a brilliant start to the festival - we can’t wait to welcome you all 🚴‍♂️
