Some have called it 'the best parade yet'!

Back three weeks today, our Children's Books themed parade was lining up ready to show off Ilkley's fantastic community spirt 🫶

The parade costumes and props were exceptional - thank you again to everyone for making Ilkley Carnival 2026 'one of the best ever!' 🙂

It was great to have members of Ben Rhydding Croquet Club with us on carnival day, the club is now offering free session for 9-11 year olds 👇

Ben Rhydding Croquet Club are holding FREE sessions for 9-11 year-olds, starting on Wednesday 3rd June from 4pm - 5pm at Ben Rhydding Croquet Club.

Not only do they help all weekend, Ilkley Gym Club put on an amazing display each year at Ilkley Carnival 🙏

An amazing day at Ilkley Carnival! Our gymnasts and their friends & family have been volunteering all weekend to help at Ilkley Carnival. Putting up marquess, litter picking, gate duties, dog show assisting, to the large pack down, the list goes on!
Incredible team work once again 🙌

Our gymnasts even performed for the crowds, showcasing a selection of their skills in the Discover Ilkley arena!

Thanks to the everyone at Your Ilkley Radio and all of the members of carnival committee!

Our committee would once again like to thank every single person who contributed to the feast of colour and creativity that was our 'Children's Books' theme parade yesterday 🙏

The voting was close, but the VIP judges awarded the 'Matt King Best In Parade' trophy to Burley Oaks - pictured with their Otto Blotter, Bird Spotter entry - congratulations 🏆
