The Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain would like to thank the thousands of visitors who came to this much loved historical street fair this year.

We hope to see thousands more visit the fair in October 2026!

The fair is open 1 - 8pm today

There will be a two hour SEND Session with reduced music, lighting and effects between 1PM and 3PM.

It’s coming up to the weekend! Ilkeston Charter Fair can be a very busy place. Arrange a meeting place if you get lost.

Opening tonight at 6 PM is Ilkeston Charter Fair - one of the biggest street fairs in the country!

Rides and attractions are spread over many different areas of the town centre. Here is a map with the locations of the major rides and attractions.

Ilkeston Charter Fair will open on Sunday for the first time this year with a two hour SEND Session with reduced music, lighting and effects between 1PM and 3PM.

Wednesday 15th October - 6PM - 11PM
Thursday 16th October - 12PM - 11PM
Friday 17th October 12PM - 11PM
Saturday 18th October 12PM - 11PM
Sunday 19th October 1PM - 8PM

Lord Mayor will ring the bells at 12 Noon Thursday 16th October in the Market Place
