We at Event Rent think that the transition from summer to autumn very much pivots about the now almost legendary Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival that takes place each year in early September.
As ever an eclectic mix of live music was presented over two days to a very appreciative audience of visitors and locals alike, and Event Rent was once again asked to provide technical support for the weekend.

So a huge shout out to the volunteer team behind the scenes who work so hard to deliver a great program of entertainment across the weekend and to all the performers, traders and of course the public for coming in their droves!

Thanks also to Tim Lamerton Photography and for allowing us to use some of your fantastic photos.

The Event Rent team were, Jon, James, Simon and Glen.
With additional assistance from Emma.

Eventrent was very pleased to provide the AV, stage, lighting, sound and technical support for the recent North Devon Business Awards that took place at The Mole Resort, Chittlehamholt, Devon.
This fab event celebrated a wide range of local businesses with their roots firmly in North Devon.
Congratulations to all of those who won prizes and of course all who were nominated!

It can be a slightly strange world sometimes in the live events industry.
As engineers & technicians we can find ourselves working on productions or events at opposite ends of the gigging spectrum.

In early January we had an amazing evening assisting local artist Luke Mac present his first headlining gig.
Luke's vision was for a 'pop-up' event space and together with family and friends a vacant shop was for one night only transformed into an intimate boutique venue.
A couple of days later were on an aeroplane to Switzerland to assist with some aspects of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The WEF is a world away from a gig in a Devon village shop but the experience and knowledge that we bring to both is equal.

‘Weathered’ is funny, tender and unexpected. It centres on university professor Mike and what has led him to this point in his life. The point where his adult daughter signs him up for...

Event Rent was asked to provide a complete technical solution for a conference for an NHS lead cross-agency community event, held in North Devon this week.
We provided the entire technical infrastructure including the lighting, audio, video, stage and lectern, but not the delicious buffet lunch which went down very well!

This evening the Event Rent team found themselves in their home town helping spread some early Christmas cheer!
As ever, a fabulous turnout, as the town came together to celebrate the Lighting of the Lights.
It even stayed dry for most of the festivities!

We were asked by Barnstaple Town Council to provide PA for Barnstaple's Remembrance Parade on Sunday.
It may have rained, but the town came together for a moment of reflection.
