A huge thank you to the 427 Co-op Members who have currently chosen to support HURSTfolk. through the Co-op Local Community Fund ❤️

As many of you know, HURSTfolk. is taking a pause while we work behind the scenes on securing the funding and long-term support needed to bring the festival back in 2027 in a sustainable way.

The support we’ve received so far genuinely means a lot. Every single person who selects HURSTfolk. as their Co-op cause helps strengthen the future of independent grassroots music, local artists, accessible events and community culture here in our village.

We're ALL IN for the hop tub's Tubstock event in June! Loads of familiar HURSTfolk. acts will be playing this brilliant event, in a proper gorgeous leafy and local location. See ya there!

We’re still buzzing from the Village Piano Project — over 30 performances and such a lovely atmosphere on the garden. Thank you again to everyone who played, helped, or came along to support 💛

As you may know, HURSTfolk. won’t be happening this year — we’ve put in a big funding application to try and bring it back in 2027. In the meantime, we’d love to keep some of that creative energy going by putting on a handful of smaller, simple events across the year — supporting local performers and giving everyone a reason to come out and enjoy it.

We’ve got a few ideas, and we’d really value your input on what you’d actually like to see in the village 👇

• Busking Day (open slots for music, poetry, spoken word)
• Silent Disco on the Green
• Open Choir / Community Singing Session
• Another Piano Day

Our pals the hop tub have announced another edition of Tubstock; this time on a gorgeous site in the neighbouring village of Albourne.
Featuring loads of familiar HURSTfolk. artists — and much more — get behind this fantastic event to support local artists AND us crazy folk who put on live events!

HAPPENING TODAY!!

Join us on the Village Garden (opposite Morley’s) in Hurstpierpoint from 12–5pm to enjoy a day of live piano performances from brilliant local players.

It’s the first time we’ve brought this to the village and we can’t wait to see it come to life.

There are plenty of great spots nearby to grab a coffee and a cake—so bring a chair, settle in, and enjoy the music.

We’re so excited for this Saturday 🎹

Our World Piano Day event is nearly here — and all pre-bookable performance slots are now full (thank you so much for the incredible response!).

If you missed out, don’t worry — we’ll be running walk-up slots on the day, so you’re very welcome to come along and sign up in person.

Whether you’re playing or just soaking it all in, we’d love to see you there. Bring a fold-out chair, settle in, and enjoy an afternoon of live music from our brilliant local players.

There are plenty of lovely local businesses nearby too, so you can grab a coffee or a snack and make a day of it.

We’re hugely grateful for the support that’s made this possible — thank you to Hurst Community Charity Shop, Hurstpierpoint & Sayers Common Parish Council, Lyona, Jewsons, Resonance Piano Tuning, Horsham Pianos, JoCo SK8-Ramps, Colin Matthews, all the shops and outlets who have displayed posters, and everyone in the village for such a positive response to the event.

Let’s make this a really special community moment — and hopefully the first of many.
