Great static and arena displays from your group all, and thank you so much for believing in us with putting on our firstly, hopefully not last, historical story through time. Who knows, its possible to go further back too! But be sure, we would love to see you again, the ideas are there to create something monumental with your help! Thank you once again, and I hope the 1 v the rest guy got away!🤣

Wow, what can we say, just wow! You guys were amazing and the interactions with the public were astounding, I wonder if you had any time to yourselves after all the photos and talks with our lovely time travellers! 2027, we certainly hope so too, you lovely people! With reenactment groups booked and 2,000 years of history to explore, Knights, Queens and Time Machines promises a spectacular journey through the ages!

Meet over 200 reenactors representing numerous time periods – from the Romans to Second World War heroes, with many eras in between.

⚔️ Highlights include:

Our breathtaking four-horse Tudor joust – cheer on your champion!

A dramatic War of the Roses battle to enthral the crowd

Katherine of Aragon with her Tudor retinue, plus her mischievous larking Jester

Living history camps featuring swords, pikes, muskets, rifles, potion making, weaving, axe throwing, cooking and cannon, and lots more.
Authentic WW2 vehicles on display

In preparation of our living history event coming to Kimbolton Castle and Kimbolton School in May 2026, and created by the Kimbolton School Parents Association, a surprise visit was made.

Sir Alan who will be performing in the 4 horse Elizabethan Joust, visited this week and entertained the Pre-prep and prep school children with a display of Knightly skills, with his beautiful steed Ianto.
With Lance, sword and handgun, the excitement of whoops, cheers and applause from the children was fantastic to see!

From Early and late Medieval villages, Tudor camps filled with music, jester and our own Queen Katherine of Aragon, to English Civil War skills and crafts, a William and Mary period encampment infitting with the castle itself, and Second World war military camps representing the most recent world history of our area, you will travel through time and learn how life was through history.
Skirmishes, battles and displays with every day skills to educate and enthrall.

Our craft fair will be on site to search for more traditional gifts and skills, and fitting caterer offerings to keep you going throughtout the day.

AND DON'T FORGET OUR TUDOR JOUST! Cheer on your favourite knight!
