Auditions:
12:00PM – 2:00PM, Sunday, 27 September 2026, in the Function Room, for junior cast (Must be existing members of the youth workshop)
2:30PM – 5:00PM, Sunday, 27 September 2026, in the Function Room, for adult cast

Playing dates: Friday, 15 January 2027 until Saturday, 30 January 2027
Performing in the Main House

About the Production:
At both auditions everyone will work on a song together. Anyone auditioning for principal roles will be expected to perform the song solo.

Our choreographer Hannah will teach everyone a dance routine which will then be performed.

There will be mixture of improvised chorus scenes and scripted character work.

This is a panto and so characters are not tied to gender - we are excited to see what characterisation comes through in the audition and how people bounce off each other,

We will be considering Youth Workshop members for chorus and bird roles.

We are open to double casting the chorus to avoid disappointing too many youngsters!

Commitment: we are looking for people who will be able to commit to the rehearsal period of 2 weekday evenings and regular Sunday afternoons starting late October.

Panto Sparkle: We are looking for this to be evident throughout the audition.

NURSE HETTY HAIRSPRAY - The royal nanny (can be played as a dame)
W***Y WIDDLE - A royal lackey
RAPUNZEL - The girl with the magical hair
GOTHEL - An evil witch
PRINCE GEORGE - A dashing young royal
KING - Rapunzel’s father
QUEEN - Rapunzel’s mother
BALL - A comic villain
SOCKET - A comic villain
FAIRY WELL - A good fairy
FAIRY GOOD - A good fairy
FAIRY NUFF - A fairy with attitude

Our Youth Workshop members are able to audition for the following.

Caryl and Merion have lived in this picture-perfect Welsh village for years - raising a family and repeatedly decorating, while watching their community slowly disappear. Now Caryl wants to escape, but Merion definitely wants to stay. Is it loyalty? Belonging? Or a dark secret that will keep them here forever?

Lucy Lovatt’s dark comedy about love, marriage and feeling trapped in your own life is her first full length play, having spent many years as a creative producer in the West End and offers a fresh and funny take on place, family and the ties that bind communities together.

Next up…we take you to a sleepy village in rural Wales where….well, we don’t want to ruin it!

Here’s a sneak peak at some rehearsal photos for KILL THY NEIGHBOUR which opens 23rd September in our Main House.

Caryl and Merion have lived in their postcard perfect village for years – raising a family, repeatedly decorating. Whilst watching their community slowly disappear.
