Marshals! 🏊‍♂️🏃‍♂️

We are looking for marshals to join our event team on Saturday, 20th June 2026.

Our adventure race relies on a brilliant team of marshals to make the day safe, successful, and unforgettable for the athlretes. Whether you want to support the athletes, share your energy, or help make lasting memories, we have a role for you.

👉 If you are a club and looking to fundraise - then look no further. We will make a payment to your club for each marshal on the event. Contact us for more details.

👉 No experience needed, just a willingness to lend a hand and a smile!

What a wonderful day in the picturesque surroundings of Bewl Water - and with favourable weather, although a little windy on some of the swims.

The marshals, on land and on water...well, thank you! You make these events for us all, and we can't thank you enough for the support you gave.

To all the athletes - well done! A real mix of seasoned and first-time swimrun athletes. A real joy to see everyone involved.

We have so many people to thank - the landowners, medical team, water safety team, suppliers, sponsors, event staff, and photographers. We will highlight all in future posts.

There are just so many people to thank on an event like this, it really is a team effort. Huge thanks to As Keen as Mustard Events for all their support throughout the build up and on the day. Swimrun really is a family!

If you want someone to give you a 'swimrun for your money' and the Swimrun Gower Full course isn’t challenging enough on its own, then rumour has it ÖTILLÖ World Champions Viktor Törneke & Johan Skårbratt are teaming up in the men’s race there.

Just a week to go now until the first Gritty Rascals' version of Swimrun Bewl.

As of this Saturday lunch time, there is only one Women's Team on the Gritty course, and 2 Men's teams - so great opportunities to get on the podium, score a bunch of British Swimrun team ranking points and win some great prizes on offer from PANDA Optics, Fenland Runner and Precision Fuel & Hydration.

There's still a few days to go until entries close, but not much time left if you want to order a finisher's shirt, so hurry if you want one as they are made to order.

If you're not ready to enter but want to see what its all about, we're still looking for some more marshals too - please get in touch if you can help - we offer race credits or donations to good causes like charities or sports clubs, along with a packed lunch and everything you need on the day. It's a great way to get to know what its all about and most of our marshals tell us what a fabulous day in their feedback.

Most of the marshal roles involve being nice to people on the course, comms with the race director and manning a the flag at the swim entry / exits - in the beautiful country side.

Swimrun Gower is nearly here - with just 3 weeks to go, prices increase to Last Minute pricing on Monday - so don't miss out on the current rates.

If you've been wondering about entering then 2026 is set to be even better than last year - entries are up over 50% on last year, we have athletes from North America and across Europe, including Otillo World Champions from 2025 and 2024.

You don't need to be an elite athlete though - there's distances for everyone along with all the water safety, medical cover and on course nutrition and hydration you need. You can swim run / jog / walk as suits you and we have many entrants that come and try as their first Swimrun.

Oh... and have you heard how beautiful it is?

New Year, New Adventure

Stuck in the ‘Crimbo-Limbo’ gap? 🧀🍷 We know the feeling. The cheese board is looking thin and we are certainly not! The sofa is feeling a little too comfortable, the trainers a little too clean!

But don't despair! It’s time to look forward to the grit, the transitions, and the trails of 2026. Whether it’s the limestone cliffs of Gower, the technical trails of Coniston, or the rolling hills of Bewl, your next big challenge is waiting.

We've gathered a few images form 2025 showcasing what is on offer. I wonder if you can tell the location of each photo. Two will be guesses, but the rest...memories imprinted on the rascals who took part.
