Last year, lots of people travelled to come to the Holmfirth Children’s Book Festival. If you’re not familiar with the venues in Holmfirth, here’s a little guide!

Most of the events are taking place at The Civic. This is located near Crown Bottom Car Park. The Methodist Church is also just next to the car park.

Read and Holmfirth Library are also just a few minutes walk down Huddersfield Road and are very easily within walking distance.

Honley Library is a little further away and we have one event here to broaden our reach into HD9. They have a beautifully new renovated library too which has only just reopened. There is some on-street parking near the library but also a small village car park only a few minutes away - Honley New Street Car Park.

Get in touch if you need support with access arrangements or advice about parking close to the venues.
