Messy Play • Stay & Play • Calm & Create
It’s more than just coming along to play… 💛
👋 “I know this place!”
Coming regularly helps children become familiar with the cabin, the routine and the people around them.
Over time, you may notice them:
✨ settling more quickly
✨ exploring more independently
✨ approaching activities with confidence
✨ feeling secure in the environment
Little experiences add up!
Each session offers opportunities to practise:
✋ Fine motor skills
🗣️ Communication & language
🎨 Creativity
🔢 Early maths & problem solving
👀 Hand-eye coordination
🌈 Sensory exploration
Regular play gives children repeated opportunities to practise, experiment and develop these skills.
🌟 “I remember this!”
Children often need more than one opportunity to explore something.
One week they might simply watch…
Next time they might touch…
Then scoop, pour, mix, create and completely immerse themselves!
There’s no pressure to join in — confidence can grow at their own pace.
💛 Familiar faces become friends.
Regular sessions give children opportunities to see the same little faces, play alongside others, practise sharing spaces and begin building those important early social skills.
And it’s not just the children …..
☕ You deserve connection as well.
Coming regularly means seeing familiar grown-ups, having a chat, sharing the ups and downs of parenting and becoming part of our lovely Little Seashells community.
Sometimes that cuppa and adult conversation is just as important. 💛
🥹 This is one of my favourite parts…
Seeing a child who once stayed close to their grown-up confidently walk into the cabin…
Watching them try something they previously avoided…
Hearing new words, seeing new friendships and watching their independence grow.
Those little changes can be HUGE. ✨
“It’s our Little Seashells day!”
Having something familiar in the week can give children a reassuring rhythm.
They begin to recognise what happens, what comes next and what they can look forward to.
Regular sessions create a little pocket of time to put everything else aside…
To play.
To explore.
To create.
To laugh.
To get messy.
And to simply enjoy being together. 🐚
