This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting our employees and their families at the fireworks event in Hereford, supporting St Michael's Hospice - Hereford It was great to be able to celebrate our Team while also raising money for such a wonderful local cause.

The U9 Ledbury Swifts have done it! They won the Tony Williams Memorial Cup at Shobdon this past weekend, and we couldn't be more thrilled for them!

The team looked sharp in their AKI sponsored kit, and it's even more special that they were coached by one of the AKI team!

I’m so immensely proud of the A K Industries ltd team who took part in the 26mile marathon Mighty Hike for Macmillan Cancer Support on the hottest day of the year yesterday☀️ 🥵

It was a massive challenge for all involved and it took between 8.75-11.5 hours to complete!! No mean feat!! We are all certainly feeling it today!

A K Industries is a technical injection moulding business on the Rotherwas in Hereford. Due to continued business growth we are now looking to recruit a further Shift Production Operators.

You'll be working on a 3-rotating shift pattern 10pm-6am, 2pm-10pm, 6am-2pm, checking products coming off the machines against our 'golden standard', packing and assembling our components to meet our customers expectations. Quality is of paramount importance to us.

To succeed in the role you must have great attention to detail, be able to undertake assembly and packing work, be able to read, understand and complete basic instruction sheets and be able to converse in basic English.

In return you'll get a competitive wage (£9.91 +50p/hour shift allowance), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and inclusion in the company bonus scheme.

Contract length: 3 months

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: £10.41 per hour
