🔥 NEXT WEEKEND GUYS!! 🔥

That’s right only 6 days until we bring this legendary line up to Hereford. Who’s ready??

Last bio, the main man himself Davide Sonar

Davide Sonar is one of the pioneers of hardstyle music. Since 2002 his productions have marked the history of Italian Hardstyle and thanks to his unique sound, emotional but hard, he has become very popular worldwide.

‘Techno Noise’, ‘Go Go Go’, ‘You aRe My Life’, ‘Dusky Noises’, ‘Reactor’, ‘Beatz 4 U’, ‘Sarabande’, ‘All of Me’, ‘Natural’ , ‘Believe’ and ‘My World’ are his greatest hits over the years. His tracks appeared on hundreds of compilations and thousands of vinyl records!

Signed to labels such as Suntec, Kickin Tunes, Italian Masters of Hardstyle and Scantraxx.

As a DJ he started to spin records in Italy, Switzerland and the UK. In a short amount of time he became a huge international Hardstyle DJ. He has played in various well-known clubs all over the world, from Europe to Australia! Next to that he performed at almost every big festival/event such as Defqon.1, Q-Base, Westfest, X-Qlusive, Tomorrowland, Hard Bass, Global Gathering and Decibel Outdoor, plus an extraordinary live performance at the stage of the massive Q-Dance’s event: Qlimax, in front of 30.000 Hardstyle and Hardcore lovers!

We can’t wait to welcome him to the little city of Hereford, make sure you come and show him what we are about 👊

Now for this lesser known DJ you may have heard of, M-Zone 😀

For anyone who knows their UK hard trance and hardstyle history, M-Zone needs very little introduction.

A hugely influential figure in the UK harder dance scene, M-Zone was responsible for bringing the hard trance sound to UK dancefloors during the mid-90s, before once again being ahead of the curve by championing the emerging early hardstyle sound at the beginning of the 2000s.

Since the early 90s, he has played at some of the biggest and most recognised events in the UK, including Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Slammin Vinyl, North, GBH, United Dance, Hardcore Heaven, Contact and Uproar – and that’s barely scratching the surface.

His career has also taken him around Europe, with appearances at events and venues including Q-BASE, Love Parade and the legendary Tunnel Club, alongside many more.

For generations of UK ravers, M-Zone has been one of the DJs responsible for introducing them to new sounds and records they simply weren’t hearing anywhere else. The tracks he would play that are still unidentified outweighs any over dj I could think of.

The man doesn’t really need much more of an introduction. You know him. You know what he’s about.

For this set, M-Zone will be digging deep into his collection, pulling out some of the biggest tracks from the early hardstyle era alongside some of the more obscure tracks you might not have heard on a dancefloor for a very long time.

Next up, we have the Herefords own DJ Tones! Here is a bit about him -

Tones’ journey into DJing began on a set of Soundlab Direct Drives, before making the inevitable upgrade to the legendary Technics 1210s and, later, moving across to Pioneer CDJs.

His first vinyl purchase was Inferno Bros – Slaves to the Rave, a track that still takes him straight back to the early days. He first heard it while standing in the queue for Death Row Tekno at The Sanctuary in Milton Keynes, waiting to get inside — a moment and a tune that have stuck with him ever since.

His introduction to rave culture came a little earlier, at just 16 years old, when he attended Dance Planet at Aston Villa Leisure Centre in 1995. That night sparked a passion for hardcore that would ultimately shape the next three decades of his life.

🎧 Behind the Decks

Over the years, Tones became a familiar name across the hardcore scene, playing for some of its biggest and most respected promotions, including North, Species, Oblivion, HTID, HTID In The Sun, Hardcore Heaven, Raverbaby, Fantazia, Slammin Vinyl, Uproar, Ravers Reunited, TLI, Relentless Hardcore, Pleasuredome and Spunky, amongst many others.

His career also took him overseas, including appearances at HTID In The Sun in Spain, while closer to home he developed a particular love for playing in Herefordshire.

Having lived in the county for more than 20 years, venues including The Crystal Rooms, The Jailhouse and The Lock Up hold plenty of memories for him. The Crystal Rooms was also where he played his first B2B with Scorpio.

🎛️ Music Production

Production has always been another major part of Tones’ musical journey.

His first release arrived in 2005 alongside Dolphin on Provoke Records, opening the door to releases across labels including D.N.A Records, Hardcore Hooligans, Megarave, North Extreme, Prototypes, Oblivion Underground, Criminal Records Digital, Deton8 Digital and Toxic Sickness.

One of his productions was later featured on the Megarave – 25 Years: The Best of Megarave compilation — a major milestone in his production career.

More recently, Tones remixed Deathmachine – Dred for the Oblivion Underground competition, a project that reignited his passion for producing hardcore and encouraged him to return to it more seriously.

That return resulted in his three-track System Restored EP, released through Toxic Sickness in February 2026, with more new material already lined up for the beginning of next year.

🎧 Retirement… Sort Of

Tones officially retired from DJing on New Year’s Eve at Fantazia in 2013, stepping away from regular appearances behind the decks.

The music never disappeared, though.

He continued producing and mixing and could occasionally still be persuaded into playing an event — particularly when it offered the chance to catch up with old friends and people he’d shared dancefloors, stages and memories with over the years.

🔥 Hard Revival & Coming Full Circle

Tones was originally due to appear at the previous Hard Revival but unfortunately had to withdraw following a family bereavement.

When the opportunity came to invite him back, he accepted — and discovering that M-Zone would also be on the line-up made the decision considerably easier.

For someone with such a long history in the scene and more than two decades of connections to Herefordshire, this one feels like a fitting return.

From Soundlab decks and teenage raves in 1995, through Technics 1210s, major hardcore events, international appearances and years of music production, to getting back behind the decks locally once again where it all began. Don’t miss out 🔥

Hey guys?? What’s the Crack? let me introduce the next bio, if you Will. Known for his Cracking hard trance tunes that is sure to Abuse the dancefloor. It’s Trance Sessions own DJ Spark-E.

Next in the Pipe-line are the big boys, starting with Tones.

🎧 DJ BIO: SPARK-E 🎧

Rooted in the sound, built from the underground — this is Spark-E.

From the tender age of just 14 years old, Spark-E knew exactly where his heart belonged: behind the decks, immersed in the energy of underground dance music. He got his very first set of turntables early on — classic Sound Lab belt drives — and threw himself into mastering his craft, cutting his teeth on the raw power of hardcore before expanding his sonic vision. As the years unfolded, he naturally ventured deep into the high-octane worlds of Freeform and Hard Trance, quickly becoming a master of these high-energy styles.

Vinyl has always been in his blood — he began amassing a massive, carefully curated record collection from an early age, a true treasure trove that taught him the art of selection, flow, and what really moves a crowd. His big break came with his first ever booking at the legendary Spunky in Hereford, where his talent shone so bright he earned a residency that lasted for many incredible years.

Since then, Spark-E has taken his sound across the UK and beyond, playing at some of the biggest and most respected events in the scene: iconic names like Timewarp, the HTE Weekender, and even taking his sound international with sets in Malta.

But his impact on the local scene runs deepest of all: Spark-E is the founder and driving force behind Hereford’s own Trance Sessions. What started as a passion project has grown from strength to strength over 4 incredible years, evolving into one of the most loved nights in the region — a true home for the trance family.

Beyond the wax, his vast digital archive spans right back to the early 90s, capturing the pioneering sound of German trance, alongside a staggering library of trance and hard trance classics that make every set a journey through the very best of the genre’s history.

His musical compass has always been guided by the true greats: Sharkey, Kevin Energy, Mark EG, Nick The Kid, Iain Cross, Cocooma, and Nostrum — legends who shaped his style into something instantly recognizable, powerful, and full of heart.

✨ A dedicated selector, a skilled technician, a scene stalwart, and the heartbeat of Trance Sessions — Spark-E delivers pure, unadulterated energy every single time he steps up.

Next up - We’ve got the man on mic duties for the evening Jay-P

Jay-P

Jay-P has been involved in the UK’s harder dance scene since its early days, first becoming part of the scene as a teenager during the early 1990s. Over the years, he has developed into an experienced MC and host, working across everything from old skool events to hardstyle, hard trance and hard techno.

A former resident host for the legendary Bionic events, Jay-P spent years on the mic alongside some of the biggest names to pass through the harder dance scene. He is now a core host for Outrage, one of Wales’ leading harder-styles events, continuing a career that has seen him perform at events and venues across the UK.

Among his appearances are multiple performances at Westfest, as well as hosting for old skool legends and established names from across the hardstyle, hard trance and hard techno scenes.

With decades of experience behind him, Jay-P knows how to work alongside a DJ without taking away from the music. His ability to read a crowd, complement a set and bring energy when it’s needed has made him a familiar voice within the scene.

For Hard Revival, Jay-P will be back on hosting duties, bringing his years of experience on the mic to a night dedicated to the harder sounds he’s been involved with for so many years.
