A Collective Prayer for Peace - the Closing Ceremony at World Yoga Festival 2026 🕊️

As the final act of World Yoga Festival 2026 and in celebration of our 10th year, we invite everyone to come together in a powerful collective prayer for peace.

Before we part ways and return to our homes, we will gather as one community and chant the ancient Vedic peace prayers.

In a world that often feels divided and uncertain, let us unite our voices, hearts, and intentions in a prayer for the wellbeing of all beings everywhere. The closing ceremony is one of the most beautiful and moving moments of the festival. When hundreds of people chant together with a shared intention, it creates a powerful atmosphere of peace, harmony, and unity.

We warmly encourage all participants to stay until the very end and be part of this special offering to the world. Let us conclude our time together not only with gratitude for what we have received, but with a heartfelt prayer for peace for all. Lokāḥ Samastāḥ Sukhino Bhavantu - may all beings everywhere be happy and free.

🙏 Join us. Stay for the closing ceremony. Add your voice to this collective prayer for our world.

Laughing Yogi Joe H***e of Laughteryogaforjoy is returning to lead his fun and popular laughter yoga workshops for the 10th year of World Yoga Festival!

Laughter yoga for joy is ‘Being Here Now, Joyfully’. It is a spontaneous, movement-based and interactive approach to increase our enjoyment of being alive. It is inherently ‘light’ and spontaneous and combines high energy with relaxation and stillness. Sessions encourage connection, engagement and creativity in a safely held yet interactive space. We combine embodiment, breath and voice to increase our awareness and open ourselves to warm-hearted, expansive connection.

Join Alison for an Ecstatic Dance Journey at this year’s World Yoga Festival and experience the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing benefits of sound and movement therapy. Movement is conscious, intuitive and spontaneous as you allow the vibrations of the sound to resonate in whichever way feels right for you. You’ll be invited to be curious with your exploration of your body and movements, to bring moment by moment awareness to what’s moving through you. The invitation is to drop out of the mind and connect with the body more deeply and freely, returning to your natural state. This is a safe container, offering respect to our fellow dancers and their space, keeping to the guidelines of no chat, no shoes, no drugs, no alcohol. Alison runs Just BE Sound and Movement Therapy, and Ecstatic Dance Berkshire, hosting regular dances, sound baths, retreats and Medicine Dance outdoor community gatherings. She qualified in Sound and Movement Therapy with the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST). 📅 Join us 30 July - 2 August 2026 📍 Henley Showground, Henley-on-Thames.

Don’t miss Jesse Bannister’s mantra workshop at this year’s World Yoga Festival - ‘Raga: The Yoga of Sound’.

Join Jesse for an immersive and interactive workshop exploring the spacious world of Vedic sound through rāga, voice and sound yoga practices. Using simple vocal and listening exercises, you will explore how sound can help tune body, breath and awareness, opening a doorway into stillness, presence and inner resonance. The session includes live demonstrations of Indian rāga on saxophone, guided sound meditations, vocal exploration, and deep listening with retuned piano and resonant soundscapes. No musical experience is needed. You are welcome to listen, sing, hum, meditate - or simply rest in the sound.
