On Friday, BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? came live from our auditorium, putting Henley at the heart of the national conversation.
Presented by Alex Forsyth, the panel brought together Baroness Angela Smith, Joy Morrissey MP, Danny Kruger MP and political commentator Andrew Fisher for a lively hour of debate, answering questions submitted by our audience.
And Henley certainly gave them plenty to talk about.
The panel tackled some of the biggest issues of the week, from the opportunities and potential dangers of artificial intelligence, to whether government should prioritise welfare spending or national defence, and whether balaclavas should be banned at public protests, sparking a wider discussion around immigration, asylum and policing.
It was a real privilege to welcome the BBC team and the four panellists to our historic theatre, and to hear questions from our own audience debated live across the country.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening happen, including our wonderful staff and volunteers, and everyone who joined us in the audience.
