Just like to let you know that we will not be having a Dubs at the Park show this year. It was good to do last years one but things haven’t slotted into place this year so unfortunately we can’t do it.

Thank you to everyone that came along today. To be honest for our 20th Anniversary it was like starting from scratch again.

A new venue, a new team, new problems, everything was a challenge really.

But Dubs at the Park 2024 happened, the weather held off and was actually pretty warm. The venue was nice and large. The Dubs were great, and the crowd were chilled. Deer on the otherside if the fence and Peacocks strutting their stuff. A Diesel engine giving a lovely trip in the grounds of Lady McAlpine with the animals to look at. I think we had a touch with the venue.

I’d also like to say a big thank you to Jazzy Early from Jazzy’s Jukebox for stepping up to a last minute request to conpere and announce our kids competition winners and the 8 most voted for vehicles.

Will there be a Dubs at the Park in 2025……watch this space.

If you’re making your way to the show this morning, please drive to Henley and follow the AA signs which will take you to Ice House Lane.
If you use the postcode on your SatNav it takes you to the main house which is beyond the showground.

Some more info about the show on Sunday…..

Those who have been before will know the format we run, those that haven’t, here’s how it works.

We do not run a Show n Shine area. Every VW that enters the show is in with a chance of winning an award. The winners are chosen by the public. Every one that enters the show can collect a voting form (until they run out). On there you need to fill in the Model, Colour and Registration Number of your favourite vehicle in the showground. Then pop the form into one of our ballot boxes on the London & Thames Valley VW Club stand.

We are not doing ‘Best Beetle’, ‘Best T6’, ‘Best Passat’ or anything. Just pick your favourite vehicle.

There are 8 awards up for grabs. The 8 vehicles with the most votes will be the winners.

Voting closes at 2pm and the Winners will be announced on the music stage from 2:30pm.

One thing I ask…….please bring a pen or pencil to fill in the form as I forgot to order them 🫣

An extra bonus for all you lovely people at Sundays show……

The railway at Fawley Hill will be running throughout the day. There will be a Diesel engine running with a carriage or carriages behind it.

This is running separate to our Dubs at the Park show but is easy to get to from the showground. This is all run by volunteers who have kindly offered to run while we have the show on, so please be kind courteous if you have a ride.

The cost is £5 per person and no food or drink is allowed on board.
