Our cast and crew are dusting off the cutlasses, polishing the pirate banter, and diving into the scripts to bring you our biggest, boldest, and most swashbuckling Christmas pantomime yet.

✨ What a transformation! ✨

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes this summer giving the Memorial Hall floor a much-needed makeover! 🛠️

From weekly sports and community meetings to captivating live events, film nights, and celebrations, our hall has proudly welcomed thousands through its doors over the last decade. With so much vibrant community life under its belt, our trusty floor had earned a well-deserved refresh!

🪵 Fully sanded back to reveal the gorgeous wood beneath

🏸 Fresh, crisp sports court lines painted for our local Badminton Club (thank you to the JPC for their generous support!)

🛡️ Sealed with a hard-wearing, professional lacquer to keep it shining bright for years to come

Specialist restoration jobs like this represent a major investment for our community building, coming in at over £4,000. It’s only through the ongoing support of everyone who uses, visits, and champions the hall that we’re able to keep investing in high-quality improvements like this. We couldn’t be prouder of the result! 🌟
