Would you like to be part of Helston & St. Keverne YFC’s 2026 Ploughing Match?

🗓️Saturday 19th September 2026
📍 Squires Lane, Helston (TR13 0RQ)

We’re looking for:

🛍️ Trade stand holders
Our event attracts a large footfall each year, with members of the farming community and the general public attending. We welcome a wide range of businesses (excluding food & drink vendors, as we provide our own refreshments).

We’re also seeking businesses who can support us with:
• Monetary donations
• Raffle prizes
• Auction lots

Events like this are becoming increasingly challenging to run, so we rely on the generosity of supporters like you - every contribution really does help. 💛

🚜🌾 Ploughing Match 2026 - We Want Your Ideas! 🌾🚜

Our committee is busy putting together the schedule for this year’s Ploughing Match… and we’re getting excited already! 🎉

We’re looking for your suggestions for classes in our Domestic Tent. Do you have any ideas for:

🧁 Cookery
🧶 Handicraft
📸 Photography
🌸 Flower Arranging
🌾 Farm Produce
🎨 Childrens Classes

Whether it’s something we’ve done before or a completely new idea, we’d love to hear it! Our aim is to create classes that as many of you as possible will want to enter.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year from the Helston & St Keverne YFC Ploughing Match Committee.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout 2025 - from sponsorship and help on the day and during the lead up, to entries and attendance. Your support has been truly invaluable.

We can’t wait to do it all over again in 2026 and are very much looking forward to getting stuck into the planning in the New Year.

Think your tractor’s got the most ponies under the bonnet?
This year, in addition to our famous Tractor Pull, we’re bringing in a dyno test so you can find out for sure!🔥

* Open to all tractors, whether you’re Ploughing, Tractor Pulling, or just visiting
* £10 per tractor
* No need to book - just turn up on the day!
