The moment you’ve all been waiting for… entries for Helston & St. Keverne YFC’s Annual Charity Ploughing Match 2026 are now OPEN! 🎉

Our 2026 Schedule is now available, featuring all of this year’s Ploughing, Domestic, and Farm Produce classes.

We’ve kept all the Ploughing classes you know and love, while giving the Domestic section a refresh with some exciting new classes for you to have a go at!

With Helston & St. Keverne YFC’s Annual Charity Ploughing Match 2026 very fast approaching, if you won a cup at last year’s Ploughing Match, please can you ensure that you get it engraved as soon as possible, if you would like your name to be on it.

Please look out for posts over the next few months regarding returning your cup, so that it is ready for the next winner.

We can’t believe how quickly the countdown has come around - there’s now just over 10 weeks until this year’s Helston & St. Keverne Young Farmers Club Charity Ploughing Match!

Our committee has been busy behind the scenes preparing for what promises to be another fantastic event. Over the last few weeks we’ve been giving our roadside signs a fresh coat of paint, so keep an eye out for them appearing around the Helston area very soon! 👀

We’re also putting the finishing touches to this year’s schedule, which will be published shortly, so make sure you’re following our page to be among the first to see it.

Would you like to be part of Helston & St. Keverne YFC’s 2026 Ploughing Match?

🗓️Saturday 19th September 2026
📍 Squires Lane, Helston (TR13 0RQ)

We’re looking for:

🛍️ Trade stand holders
Our event attracts a large footfall each year, with members of the farming community and the general public attending. We welcome a wide range of businesses (excluding food & drink vendors, as we provide our own refreshments).

🫱🏻‍🫲🏾Sponsors
We’re also seeking businesses who can support us with:
• Monetary donations
• Raffle prizes
• Auction lots

Events like this are becoming increasingly challenging to run, so we rely on the generosity of supporters like you - every contribution really does help. 💛

Our committee is busy putting together the schedule for this year’s Ploughing Match… and we’re getting excited already! 🎉

We’re looking for your suggestions for classes in our Domestic Tent. Do you have any ideas for:

🧁 Cookery
🧶 Handicraft
📸 Photography
🌸 Flower Arranging
🌾 Farm Produce
🎨 Childrens Classes

Whether it’s something we’ve done before or a completely new idea, we’d love to hear it! Our aim is to create classes that as many of you as possible will want to enter.
