Easy upgrade! My Gretsch G5420T came with black top factory fitted filter-tron pick ups. I managed to get hold of some secondhand TV Jones Magna-trons. Swapped them over, with uncertainty on a hollow body gretsch as these pickups pack some power. The result was surprising, and now the sound quality and versatility has massively improved! They also look cooler!! (Re-named G5420TV)

Great night Friday, took these four ladies out for a party at the Cheers to Beer festival, Poet & Castle, Playing on a warm summers evening with the Easy Thomas Blues Band!
Fender telecaster blackout deluxe. Gretsch Pro Jet custom. Gretsch 5420TV custom. and Columbus Series 3-335 custom.

Great gig last night at the Gate Inn in Loscoe! Took three ladies out for the night. Gretsch 5420TV custom. Gretsch Jet Pro custom & Columbus 335. All played through Hayden valve head. Proper vintage sound! with Easy Thomas Blues Band.

This Kay Sound Fashion, Bass amp was given to me by a friend. I use this as a practice amp for both bass and electric guitar. It sounds cool, good low tones and warmth for the guitar. If you find one of these for sale its low price and worth getting! Something from the seventies.
