It's with extremely sad news to report the sudden death of Mr Chris Dent aged 43.
As you will be familier, Chris was a Pig Steward not only at our South East prime stock winter fair but also at many other summer agricultural show locally and nationally.
Chris was a sharp and intelligent gentleman who always made time to speak to you and was also interested in you and your stock as he had a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as having a laugh in the show ring and at the bar.
Chris will be so missed by so many people at the pig shows. He played a massive part in making sure every pig and exhibitor had a brilliant show.
Your work as a volunteer was excellent and will be missed.
The committee would like to recognise the hard work and loyalty that you put into the show.
