The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend

A popular mixed terrain running event that takes place in three towns over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Runners can once again challenge themselves and complete one of the three individual town races, or ‘go for gold’ and compete in all three and run the full marathon distance over the three days. The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend is an inclusive event, with races f

or all ages and abilities. Younger participants and new runners can put on their running shoes for our *Fun Runs and Mid Sussex Mile races. ​

Ready, Get Set, Go...! DAY 1: SATURDAY
East Grinstead Rugby Club ​
9.30am Mid Sussex Fun Run ​
10.00am Mid Sussex Mile ​
10.30am 10 Mile Race (FIRST LEG of the Mid Sussex Marathon)

DAY 2: SUNDAY
Victoria Park, Haywards Heath ​
9.30am Mid Sussex Fun Run ​
10.00am Mid Sussex Mile ​
10.30am 10 Mile Race (SECOND LEG of the Mid Sussex Marathon)

DAY 3: MONDAY
The Burgess Hill Academy (Playing Field)​
9.30am Mid Sussex Fun Run ​
10.00am Mid Sussex Mile ​
10.30am 10K Race (FINAL LEG of the Mid Sussex Marathon).​

Participants in all races will receive a bespoke medal and those completing the full marathon distance will receive a fabulous technical t-shirt.

Behind every great race… is a pretty amazing team 💛

To all our volunteers and event crew - thank you for the early starts, the long days, the encouragement, the energy, and everything in between 🙌

From setting up, handing out water, marshalling the course, cheering runners on, and welcoming everyone across the finish line… you helped make the weekend what it was.
