TODAY IN THE PARK

Today the park is host to a pop up mini golf. Make sure to check it out after a ride on the train.

Sam and I checked it was all worked this morning and I am pleased to say that I beat Sam.

We also have the fun fair visiting this weekend (until Monday).

Ground - in the park will also be open serving refreshing beverages and ice creams 🍨

75th ANNIVERSARY PHOTOS

We had an amazing time putting on the 75th anniversary event. It was great to see so many people come to celebrate with us.

The day started great with the cavilcade running as planned and all in time for the Mayor to do a small speech, cut the celebratory ribbon and have a ride on the train! We would like to thank the Mayor for coming down and celebrating with us.

The rest of the day went almost without a hitch. All trains were running full and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

We had 5 steam locomotives run across the 3 hours alongside 2 electric trains double heading.

Thank you to everyone who came to the railway to celebrate with us. It truly was a special day.

TRAINS RUNNING TODAY
75TH ANNIVERSARY DAY

It's finally here, Beech Hurst is celebrating our 75th anniversary. Trains will be running from 2 - 5pm.

This will include 3 double headers, the Mayor opening the railway (ribbon cutting), and a locomotive cavilcade prior to service.

The cavilcade will go round the track at 13:40 and unfortunately cannot take passengers. This will still be a fantastic opportunity to see us show off a collection of locomotives one after the other.
